TROUBLESHOOTING AND DIAGNOSIS

We identify, analyse and diagnose problems or issues by pinpointing the specific areas that require attention or improvement.

Previous experience includes:

  • Reviewing the effectiveness of risk governance, culture and accountability practices for a range of clients including major insurers, mutual banks, mortgage broker, education institutions and others. 

  • Conducting an independent root cause analysis for a major bank that had received a large number of customer complaints for certain products.

  • Reviewing a remediation plan for a bank to determine compliance with the regulatory standards and to determine if the plan adequately addressed the root cause of the problem.  

  • Conducting an independent review of the risk culture of a mutual bank to determine if the assessment methodology and findings were robust and effective to inform the board on the risk culture of the organisation. 

Brainstorming

DESIGN AND DELIVERY

We design, execute, embed and sustain risk and regulatory initiatives. 

Previous experience includes:

  • Conducting an independent review on the effectiveness of governance practices, including developing a series of climate risk governance options for a state government department.

  • Designing and delivering a remediation compensation scheme for a large property developer.  

  • Designing and delivering a fee for no service remediation for a large Superannuation fund.

  • Reviewing the evidence surrounding an incident for a payments company and consulted with key stakeholders in the organisation to develop a remediation plan for board signoff.

FACILITATION

We design and facilitate meetings, workshops and offsites in a way that is deeply engaging, inclusive and is outcome orientated. 

Previous experience includes:

  • Facilitating a board risk culture strategy workshop and training session for a mutual bank.

  • Facilitating an independent root cause analysis workshop for a range of clients including for a major bank and a superannuation fund.

  • Designing and delivering strategy and team building workshops for risk management teams including for a major bank and a consulting firm.

Giving a Presentation

COACHING AND DEVELOPMENT 

We enhance the effectiveness, value creation and impact of risk professionals and teams. 

Previous experience includes:

  • Developing a new operating model for a line 2 risk function embedding three lines of defence principles.

  • Providing coaching for risk management professionals seeking independent career support and guidance from coaches with deep industry experience.  

  • Developing and delivering a people strategy to build capability in a risk management team in a major bank.

Led by founder Donna Worthington, with over 20 years' experience leading change and transformation in risk management and regulatory driven programs.  Donna brings unique perspectives having the lived experience of working in a leading Big4 consulting firm, a leading Australian bank, a leading global insurer and most recently, a Partner in a leading Australian law and consulting firm.    Donna has extensive experience across a range of financial services institutions but has worked across a wide array of industries including government, property development, education, energy and not-for-profit sectors.
